Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Part Time Training Administrator . Working pattern 20 hours per week, over 5 days. Hours ideally 10am -2pm but would consider 9-1pm or similar.
Mission:
To provide timely and effective secretarial, administrative and clerical support to the Safety Centre.
Key Responsibilities / Activities:
Customer Liaison –
Respond to all customer enquiries through emails and telephone.
Liaising with the delegates and other customer contacts in order to manage course bookings and make hotel arrangements for delegates.
Meet and Greet customers on the first day of the course giving them a brief induction to the Safety Centre
Finance Assistance to Safety Centre –
Input customer purchase order data into the SAP system and be in charge of invoicing customers following the attendance of a course. Review the backlog positions and liaise with credit control department to assist debt collection/management. Manage the vendor invoices through Accounts Payable Team in Telford. Review Stationery and Refreshment expenses at the Safety Centre.
Course Administration –
Prepare the classroom with all course manuals, attendance sheets and other stationery required for the course prior to the training session.
Record course information and the details of all delegates on the access database timely and accurately.
Ensure certificates are issued to customers upon successful completion of a course.
Training Projects –
Perform special training related project duties as assigned.
Course schedules –
Ensure yearly schedules are prepared and reviewed on a regular basis to include additional training sessions
Stock Management –
Ensure all stationary and refreshments stock is maintained.
Ideally from a training admin background, although we would consider someone with strong administration experience who is interested in working within a training environment. Excellent IT skills are essential, including database knowledge and basic to intermediate Excel.
