The principal duties of this position are as follows:

• Prepare quotations to customer's requirements.
• Ensure the specifications of equipment meets with the customers requirements and needs
• Ensure that he offer is provided within the customers required timescales

Desired profile

The ideal candidate will be:

• Understand and carry out BMS system design based on project documentation; specifications, drawings, briefs etc
• Compile comprehensive points lists from system design
• Prepare and submit enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors, evaluate and source compliant quotations
• Pro-actively identify and propose Value Engineering solutions, maximising our bid value and success win rate. These solutions would address issues such as enhanced system performance, reduced program, off-site working, increased margin
• Ensure the specifications of equipment meets with the customer's requirements and needs
• Prepare quotations to customer's requirements including full system proposal documentation
• Active involvement in Risk and Opportunity analysis and producing R&O registers
• Engage with internal and external teams and stakeholders
• Take active role in client presentations when appropriate
• Ensure that he offer is provided within the customers required timescales
• Must be fully aware of safe working practices within construction
• Computer Literate; in particular Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
