An opportunity has become available for a Technical Support Engineer Level 2 who will provide

Advanced Technical Support and delivers Product support and technical expertise for Schneider Electric Australia and New Zealand entities and End users during design, testing, installation and commissioning of Schneider Electric systems.

Key Responsibilities

·  Case management - identify customer issue, provide timely information to customers, escalate to experts when appropriate and provide solution
·  Understand, evaluate and reproduce received technical question, determine the causes and convey the solution to reported problem.
·  Provide technical trainings on request
·  Ready to assist on onsite interventions when solving non standard or critical cases
·  Build your working environment and facilitate existing tools

Desired profile

We are looking for the following attributes:

·  Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Industrial data processing
·  2-3 years experience of Electrical Distribution networks and Power Quality
·  Experience with motor control system such as Direct online, VSD, Soft starters
·  Experience in Energy sector in Industry / Utility, Energy management ,Power Measurement , LV/MV installations.
·  Experience in Schneider Electric or competitor products in Power Measurement and Energy Distribution
·  IT , Computer Networking and troubleshooting experience
·  Understanding of Modbus, Ethernet, IEC 61850
·  Experience in database management, MSQL, OPC server
·  Wide understanding of Schneider Electric products, solutions and engineering concepts is an advantage
