Job description

This position is responsible for the overall turnkey design, installation, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshooting using detailed company guidelines. Performs moderately complex customer support activities for equipment and systems products. Ensures that each project assigned reaches final completion on time and is implemented at or below the estimated cost in the approved sales estimate and is billed in timely fashion through the duration of the project.

• Engineers design per plan and specifications
• Material procurement & understanding of devices.
• Oversee and coordinate and drive subcontractors on related projects
• Create and update system pages, tracking documentation, checkout sheets, weekly progress reports, etc.
• Validate hardware and project installations
• Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
• Prepare customer-training manuals and provide customized training to customers as needed
• Diagnose communication problems and install control devises and other components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Participate in field audits and related analysis and results and performance assurance of installed systems
• May establish sales estimates, change orders or meet performance guarantees
• Ability to troubleshoot high level communication protocols. IE: Modbus, Bacnet, etc.
• Programming, graphic design knowledge a plus.
• HVAC control system knowledge and Sequence of Operations familiarity is a must.
• Electrical license/knowledge essential.
• Perform preventative maintenance on customer and company furnished equipment and devices
• Ability to communicate to the project team verbally within meetings as well as via email.
• Professionalism & maturity & management skills is of the utmost importance.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION:

• Four-year degree required or related work experience

EXPERIENCE:

• Ten years related work experience required

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Advanced understanding of HVAC, access or other building or electronic control systems a plus
• Ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word and Excel
• Electrical Knowledge
• TAC product knowledge a plus (Continuum)
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
