What do you get to do in this position?
This Strategy Analyst position will be responsible for leading the analytical efforts of the US Schneider Electric Strategy team. This position will both lead and collaborate on research projects directly related to markets, segments, competitors, channels, and technology that apply to our US business.
This would include, but would not necessarily be limited to:
- Identifying and researching differentiating market trends for the end markets where our businesses participate
- Analyzing the size and growth potential of new and existing markets
- Performing routine competitive analysis and performance breakdowns of external companies within our industry
- Routinely and formally reporting analysis findings back to Sr. Management
- Assisting in preparing monthly and quarterly business briefings on market and competitive business landscape

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Technical competences
- Ability to turn complex data into useful information and business insights
- Ability to scope and structure analytic and research projects in cases where data is imperfect or incomplete
- Ability to use both quantitative and qualitative analysis to reach insights
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel. Some experience helpful with relational databases (Microsoft Access, SQL or other database applications), and data visualization software (Tableau, Domo, etc).
Other competences
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team in order to accomplish tasks and objectives
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to be open to experiment with new approaches to find solutions to problems
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education Required: B.S. in Finance, Economics, Business or related study path
Experience Required: 2-3 years in a position involving research or analytics
