Job description

Purpose of the Job and Scope

As Strategic Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and driving the global Strategic Intelligence activities & processes for one of the key Schneider Electric Business Units (BU), focusing on providing excellent lifecycle services, advanced digital services, and consulting & digital platform services to enable our client's business and IoT transformations. You will also participate in various strategic, cross-BU, or Group Level projects to support our successes.

Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not be limited to:

· Support and facilitate to drive the overall BU global Strategic Intelligence activities as well as its continuous development and refinements to reflect the latest BU strategy, priorities, and, future directions

· Perform internal & external research for comprehensive & continuous (top-down vs. bottom-up) global market & competition landscape understandings, including (but not limited to):

§ Competitor strategy deep dives, financial performance analysis & Schneider benchmarking, competitor lifecycle / digital services offer roadmap mapping, competitor IoT strategy n analysis

- Contribute to the Annual Market Report process to reflect BU strategic, portfolio, segment, go-to-market, and geographical developments and other critical business dimensions

- Run regular Strategic Intelligence activities (e.g. quarterly competitor's analysis / performance benchmarking, newsletter, macro-economic indicators & ad-hoc critical news alerts)

- Conduct ad-hoc market and competition deep dive for other strategic topics

- Develop internal/external business intelligence network

· Research Macro-Economic indicators that impacts BU relevant markets and build / analyze our future market and opportunities in key customer segments

· Support BU strategic cycles and important strategy projects

- Serve as a contributor on market and portfolio sections of strategic cycle and projects

- Support other BU & Corporate Development projects (e.g. M&A, partnership) and target screening / profiling

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications / Requirements

·  Bachelor or above degree in the relevant engineering principles (e.g. OT or IT fields, Electrical Distributions, Industrial Auto.) supported with general business education (e.g. dual degrees, certification, minor), MBA will be a plus
·  2-3 years (or a solid internship) experiences in a leading corporation, financial institute, or professional services firm in corporate strategy, market research, strategic / product marketing, consulting or management trainee roles

· Good data & financial analytical skills, ability to analyze large amount of complicated data with high accuracy

· Exposures of the following topics will be highly advantageous

- Digital services and practices: digital transformation, IoT platform and services, digital twins, energy services, predictive services, data analytics, asset performance mgmt.., industrial cybersecurity, smart grid / cities etc.

- Global competitor knowledge (e.g. ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, Rockwell, Huawei…) or emerging players / partner knowledge (e.g. Autodesk, ptc, IBM, Deloitte, Amazon Web Services…)

- Some customer segments knowledge (e.g. Buildings, Industries, Infrastructure, Cloud, Utilities)

· Strong communication and presentation skills; Flexible and able to work under pressure and with short timeline; Professional attitude and attention to details; Self-starter with the ability to run multi-projects and prioritize tasks

· Working comfortably and effectively in cross-cultural and cross-functional settings

· Proficient in English, working proficiency of other European language (e.g. French) will be a plus
