What do you get to do in this position?
You will provide customer support for the Energy and Sustainability Services group and responsible for performing advanced engineering tasks within the Performance Assurance Support Services department. Roles of the Performance Assurance team includes; performance guarantee, building analytics, sales selection support, remote support/monitoring, energy management, client engagement, controls and mechanical operation.
· You'll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
· Understand defined measurement and verification (M&V) strategies
· Proactively tune building systems for optimal performance
· Periodically evaluate performance of systems for improvement opportunities
· Diagnose complex system problems for clients
· Help clients with any Building Automation operations, software, or networking problems
· Create custom alarming algorithms in fault detection analysis programs
· Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting provided to clients
· Design Monitoring plans to remotely monitor Building Automation System
· Provide Energy Management guidance to clients
· Lead, manage, complete, and delegate tasks specific to the client
· Manage flow of information between client and Performance Assurance group and ensure effective communication of client goals, objectives, and schedules
· Performs commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation
· Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
· Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
· Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
· Specify and estimate hardware/software adds, change orders, and problem solutions
· Provide ongoing client training, both formal and informal
· Other duties as assigned
Desired profile
Qualifications :
This job might be for you if:
· Four-year degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience
· Need to have 3-5 years of HVAC and Controls experience
· Natural Problem Solver with excellent organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently, and the ability to manage resource procurement and utilization
· Ability to travel >50%
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to influence internal and external clients, listen effectively, and solicit input from others
