We are currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect to work within our Process Automation (PA) business unit. Diversity is our heritage and our future. Be a part of it. This role will work with Account Managers to analyse customer's business and technical issues and to create viable architectures and solutions to meet those requirements. Then to articulate those solutions to the customer and within the Schneider Electric to gain support for those ideas. The position will report into the PA Technical Consultancy Director.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate a compelling vision and inspire and motivate customers as well as internal teams to drive the business forward to achieve goals. Amongst many factors, success will be dependent on using exceptional value creation skills across the specific industry sectors, driving to succeed, collaboratively with PA and other Schneider teams and Business Units, across a portfolio of solutions and products.
Experience in solutions for Operational Information Technology for Utility companies, requiring a combination of technical & architectural skills with specific knowledge of water, gas and electricity network operations, their business drivers and regulatory environment.
Expectations
· Develop, manage, implement and execute an overall solutions strategy to maximise growth potential
· Be accountable for all architectural solutions as part of the sales cycle into Utility accounts
· Ability to facilitate solution driven workshops and to ensure workshop results are implemented
· Articulate solutions to Utility customers and to Schneider Electric delivery team
· Develop coherent solutions for all Utility accounts, using common architectures where possible, limiting the need for customisation
· Present and demonstrate Schneider Electric software applications and to articulate solutions in business value adding terms
· Liaise with other parts of Schneider Electric and with partner organisations to create viable solutions
· Be an active participant in tenders and in their credible presentation to the customer base and internally as part of the Schneider Electric approvals and handover cycles

· Experience of operating within a matrix organisation, ideally in a large corporation would be beneficial and good internal stakeholder management will also be important although not critical

· Main scope will be covering UK Business, but may require international travel from time to time
· Ability to assemble, direct, influence, coach, motivate and co-ordinate teams, in different locations and from different parts of SE, engaged in multiple simultaneous opportunities.
· Experience in business transformation solutions
· This role will include travel for up to 75% of your time
· Valid UK driving licence
