The IT Quality and Compliance team would like to hear from anyone who is interested in developing their career within the IT department at IMServ. This key role will be responsible for developing test plans and producing test scripts in order to prove a solution is of the appropriate quality as well as identifying, logging and tracking system defects that do not match defined functional requirements. You will be competent in managing both system testing and user acceptance testing. The Software Test Analyst will be expected to work on testing new software solutions as well as changes/fixes to exiting systems. This role will be required to undertake occasional out of hours work in order to support go-live activities.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Ø Development of high level and detailed test plans aligned to a specific delivery schedule

Ø Test coverage planned to minimise risk to an agreed level

Ø Analyse business and functional requirements to ensure appropriate test coverage is planned and executed

Ø Contribute to business and functional requirements

Ø Establish and maintain good relationships with application user community

Ø Produce test cases and create/setup test data

Ø Environment validation to ensure test environments are fit for purpose

Ø Manage System Testing to test plans ensuring solutions meet functional requirements

Ø Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing to test plans ensuring solutions meet business requirements

Ø Execution of testing, either by self and in conjunction with operational departments

Ø Produce regular test progress reports including defect status graphs/charts

Ø Produce logs of tests executed, failed and completed and maintain on daily basis

Ø Ensure appropriate standards of excellence are applied in all aspects of testing and implementation

Ø Regularly communicate testing and deployment progress and completion
