Schneider Electric is looking for a passionate software quality lead engineer and expert with extensive manual and automation testing experience to join Schneider's IoT and Digital Transformation Organization's Application Services group. The QA engineer will work closely with mobile and web development engineers, product management and peer R&D teams across Schneider. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high quality mobile and web frameworks, SDKs and application life-cycle services. The individual will have the opportunity to lead the end-to-end quality and release processes and testing of software assets involving mobile, web frameworks, IoT platform integration services and future enterprise wearable technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in Quality Assurance, you will be required to develop and execute end-to-end automation (Appium, Selenium), create and execute test plans & test cases for frameworks and SDKs targeting mobile (iOS, Android, Windows), desktop (PC, Mac) and web apps (Safari, Chrome).

Lead and maintain a testing strategy that establishes a “secured quality lifecycle service”as a practice within our IoT Application Services group.

Maintain software quality, continuous integration and continuous delivery automated process and workflows with a toolset involving JIRA, Git, Nexus, Jenkins and HockeyApp.

The candidate will have influential and mentoring role to help our internal IoT stakeholder R&D teams with mobile and web application automation tools and processes that help accelerate customer application delivery.

Desired Skills and Experience:

* Experience defining and executing test plans & test cases and reporting results.

· Experience writing automation scripts using Karma, Protractor for AngularJS apps or modern Single-Page-Applications.

· Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.

· Experience testing hybrid/native Android and iOS mobile apps

· Experience testing web applications(.Net, Java, AngularJS, nodejs) and web portal frameworks (Liferay) is a plus.

· Experience testing web services (SOAP, REST APIs).

· Experience testing with headless webkit frameworks like PhantomJS.

· Experience writing automated tests for web and/or mobile devices (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Android SDK, Xcode, etc.)

· Experience with development tools such as Eclipse and Xcode (Specifically, testing with Emulators embedded in these IDEs)

· Strong knowledge of Mac OSX and Windows

· Strong commitment to improving software quality and resourceful testing mentality.

· Ability to write clear and concise bug tickets using defect/ticket tracking systems (JIRA)
