The candidate will represent Schneider Electric in a professional and courteous manner and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be engaging in conversation and be a motivated self starter. In addition, the intern should be proficient with standard computer skills. They will be responsible for adding customer information into the CRM database including information updates on existing customers. This person should be able to answer basic questions that customers have with regard to our company, product, service or solution.



The intern will be responsible for assisting and supporting the marketing department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives for a new product launch – Wiser Air. You will work closely with the Wiser Air team to research, build, and connect with our audience on social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat. We're looking for the type of person that wants to be part of an exciting US product launch; leaders who can learn quickly, take initiative, and develop and deliver a constant stream of compelling and engaging content. You will assist with the brand new consumer launch of Wiser Air and will be part of a team bringing this new product to market.



Key responsibilities :

· Hands-on social media experience, preferably for a company or agency.

· Conscious of the brand = the brand voice should resonate in all social media activity.

· Eager and excited - we"ll rely on you to research what Twitter/Instagram handles we should reach out to, find relevant stories in the press that may be of interest to the Wiser Air audience, and suggest new ways to engage with our followers.

· Available to post frequently. On Facebook and Instagram, one to three times a day is sufficient. On Twitter, a minimum or 25 engagements per day.

· Analyze social media content to enhance effectiveness, with an eye toward creating deeper engagement opportunities.

· Assisting with internal and external social communications

· Assisting with marketing collateral refresh

· Content creation for our digital media platforms

· Drafting and editing copy for social channels

· Engaging with marketing team on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns

· Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs

· Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information



Skills

· Highly independent - able to follow guidelines and not afraid to work alone.

· Excellent writing and editing skills.

· Media skills such as photography, video editing, graphic design (Photoshop).
· Good project and time management skills
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Highly enthusiastic individual who has strong interpersonal skills
· Self-starter with aptitude to work independently while contributing in a team environment
· Knowledge of social media for business networking
· Customer-centered sales and service approach
· Understanding of the sales and marketing process
· Experience working multiple levels within an organization
