The Co-Op should be a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering major with an interest in real-time embedded programming . The ideal candidate should have taken C/C++ programming and have participated in at least 1 laboratory EE class (intro to circuits, ...).

The ideal candidate will have taken Computer Architectures (microprocessors, memory, digital electronics) and be comfortable using an oscilloscope or logic analyzer and be familiar with the Linux environment. The candidate should have good communication skills and be
comfortable to seek out information from co-workers when working on a task.

In addition, the co-op should be comfortable with at least one scripting language with Python Scripting language the most preferred. It is desirable if the candidate is familiar with web programming such as HTML 5/CSS3 and Javascript. Exposure to the Git source code control system would be an added plus.

The co-op will work in a team of more experience engineers to fix bugs, perform testing and implement new features in a real-time networking development group
