Project Manager – Engineer-To-Order (ETO)

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, planning, execution, control and completion of projects in accordance with contractual commitments and in compliance with the company's policies, processes and procedures for the execution of projects.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efforts of team members, partners, third-party contractors and consultants in order to deliver projects in line with agreed upon performance indicators.
Responsibilities and Duties
This position is responsible for the following tasks and duties:

Defining project scope, goals, methodology and deliverables.
·
Developing full-scale project plans and defining project tasks and resource requirements.
·
Managing project budgets, resource allocation and day-to-day operational aspects.
·
Planning and scheduling project timelines and tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools.
·
Ensuring project deliverables meet the company's quality standards and contract requirements.
·
Minimizing exposure and risk on a project.
·
Developing and implementing recovery/mitigation plans for unanticipated events/risks.
·
Diligently managing the change order process.
·
Constantly monitoring and reporting on progress to concerned stakeholders.
·
Ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
·
Assisting in evaluating and assessing project KPIs.
·
Developing relationships with client/consultant personnel that foster long-term business ties.
·
Following up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
·
Suggesting areas for improvement with internal processes, with possible solutions.
·
Actively participating in QMS and HSE programs.
·
Using the required processes and procedures to execute work.
·
Reporting any existing or potential safety and QMS nonconformities to a supervisor, Quality Manager or HSE Coordinator.
·
Maintaining a clean work area through daily housekeeping, as required.
·
Other duties, as required.

Education
The following educational requirements apply to this position:
§ Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
§ PMP certification is an added asset.

§ 3+ years of professional experience in project management or evidence of project management capabilities deemed appropriate for this position.
Certifications
The following certifications are required for this position:

University degree in an engineering program or equivalent.
Training Requirements
This position is required to complete (and keep up to date) the following training courses:

Health, Safety and Environment Orientation (with refresh training required annually)
·
Quality Management System
·
ERP – Q2C or alternate, as designated
·
