What do you get to do in this position?
The Procurement Manager is responsible to lead category buyers in execution of assigned Fabricated Components and Raw Materials Commodity strategies (approximately $200- $300M USD spend) and to support the related Manufacturing operations in NAM. This position leads North American regional buyers. This position facilitates the interaction for Business needs with the LOB, manufacturing, global commodity team, and any other area for future growth needs, technological evolutions, supply chain optimization. Leads supplier relationships for NAM and is responsible for annual productivity results.
This position leads approximately 8-10 people
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Purchasing Performance
· Manage the NAM productivity process for assigned scope
· Develop and maintain commodity productivity forecasts
· Maintain and track performance dashboard for the team
· Deploy purchasing & non purchasing levers to drive cost savings and performance improvement
· Formulate cross functional levers for Supplier performance, innovation, and sustainable growth with key stakeholder validation.
· Share Strategy, Supplier base and best practices with the organization.
Supplier Management
· Define and manage a portion of the Supply base network
· Identify business needs & market evolutions to create and implement a World Class Supply Base.
· Supplier Leadership: - own the commercial relationship for key suppliers, serve as the point of contact for problem escalation, conduct Business Reviews, and drive sustainable development among the supply base.
· Negotiation plan and strategy
· Compliance to Purchasing Excellence System (PES).

Qualifications :

You fit the following Requirements:
· 4 years education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering
· CPM or CPIM or EDISON in procurement is desired
· Experience in a Manager/Supervisor role or demonstrated leadership capabilities via project management or procurement strategy implementation within a complex organization
· Demonstrated high level of performance results working cross-functionally
· Strong knowledge of negotiation processes, project leadership, and manufacturing processes.
· Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in commodity procurement
· Demonstrated leadership skills
