Global IT Asset Management considers all software, hardware & infrastructure within Schneider Electric Industries.
The Mission of ITAM is to enable smart & sustainable decisions on digital investments aligned with the overall Digital Strategy & bring value to the Enterprise by maximizing utilization & efficiencies while reducing costs & risks associated with IT Assets.
IT Assets are all physical & logical assets considered intrinsic in value & material in nature regardless of their associated depreciation or spend currency value.
The ITAM Policies, Procedures & Statements of Procedures Specialist is accountable for tangible business results attributable to effective for policy development, implementation, and oversight of Global ITAM Policies & Procedures.
The ITAM Policy Framework serves as the foundation in enabling the effective delivery of IT Asset Management across global and country specific environments. Appropriate, meaningful and effective policy and procedure creation and the associated implementation thereof is paramount within Schneider to enable the accelerated management the IT Asset lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
· Is accountable for the design, development, publication and implementation of policies and procedures relative the ongoing transformative activities across practices
· Accountable for process development, execution and outcomes at an agreed performance
· Ensures all relevant staff have the required training in the process and are aware of the role in the process
· Is accountable for execution and monitoring of the ITAM processes and policy execution and effectiveness on a global level
· Alignment, support and direction for Service Asset & Configuration (SACM) personnel within IT Service Management function
· Identifies opportunities to improve or reengineer the existing processes and procedures
· Develops and conducts training sessions to educate staff on ITAM standards, processes and procedures
· Ensure policy & procedural development are fully aligned with ITAM Framework & Lifecyle which remain relevant to global standards (i.e. ISO; ITIL; etc.)
· Responsible for working with Business Transformation leadership in the development of appropriate policies & procedures that will enable successful transformative change realizing operational excellence
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Education - Level of education required (Mandatory schooling, Vocational education, Specialized school, Undergraduate, University degree, PhD)
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Accounting/ Compliance/ Legal or related field or equivalent experience
· Related Post graduate qualification is preferred
· IT Asset Management standard-based certification is an advantage (ISO 1977-X; ITIL; CSAM; CHAM; CITAM; etc.)
· Additional Project Management or Technical Certification is an advantage
Language requirements
· Professional and fully conversant in English
· Second or third language would be an advantage
Experience - Total number of years of professional experience necessary prior to the job entry
· 10+ years of ITAM-related experience
· 7+ years in a leadership role
· 5+ years of professional licensing experience in 3 or more Tier 1 software publishers (at least including SAP; IBM; Microsoft), Oracle and Salesforce is an advantage
· Experience working in multiple markets and regions internationally
· Significant hands-on experience with Hardware and Software Asset Management and Publisher Compliance practices: Proven work experience at global publisher/ Big 4 Consultancy Firm is preferred
· Demonstrated familiarity with IT Asset Management standards (ISO 1977-X; ITIL; etc.)
· Experience working closely with business process owners on continuous process improvement and the application of technology throughout the IT Asset Lifecycle toward this end
· Experience in working with C-level personnel
· Outstanding executive communication skills, written and oral
· Strong strategic thinking and tactical execution capabilities; brings critical thinking and intellectual rigor
· Able to work in and bring clarity to ambiguous, evolving environments
· Personifies a high performance / high accountability mentality, demonstrated in large, (global) matrixed initiatives

· Inspirational leader with proven success directing, motivating and developing program staff (greater than 20+ direct and matrices reports) in an evolving environment
· Demonstrable experience planning and managing a project portfolio of greater than $250M annual spend and running (successful) projects in $50-75MM+ range
· Proven experience leading highly complex programs bringing an enterprise into compliance with new regulations or to better manage its overall risk profile
· Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
· Experience in both program management and P&L strongly preferred

· Experience designing and leading IT resources, budgets and return on investment analysis
· Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to relate smaller concepts to the overall "big picture"
· Exceptional computer software skills (MS Excel/Word PowerPoint/Outlook)
