Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Reporting to: Design Activity Team Manager

Job Description: Prepare and draft all technical matters of a medium voltage projects from preliminary design up to preparation of as-manufactured or as-built drawings as per the guidance of Design Activity Team Manager or Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Define technically the job by reviewing the customers requirements and specifications.
· Convey at the earliest, actual technical feasibility with regards to customer expectations as per the guidance of immediate superior.
· Implement tailor-made solutions that stick the closest to the needs while working towards optimizing company's existing standard supply.
· Draft technical clarifications requested from customer, Projects Department, Manufacturing & Logistics or draftsmen in consultation with immediate superior or Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
· Drafting the job technical data, single line diagram, panel layout, civil work guide and schematic by using computer aided system.
· Review and assess supplier ability to comply with our specifications, in coordination with Logistic. Check thoroughly supplier's acknowledgment of EPS order.
· Prepare and issue the latest updated technical information to the concerned section (Mechanical Section, Project Department, Manufacturing & Logistics).
· Participate in technical meetings with Projects Department or customer, together with Senior Electrical Design Engineer or immediate superior.
· Prepare BOM for the job.
· Prepare production file with applicable checklist.
· Prepare and issue job based fabrication file request to mechanical section.
· Effective use of design tools like Elecdes, Autocad etc.

Desired profile

· Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
· Experience in Design and Manufacturing of MV Switchgear, and Control Panel
· Hands on experience of AutoCAD
· Knowledge of IEC codes and Standards
· Good engineering and technical competencies.
· Ability to learn and understand new tools and concepts quickly.
· Very Good Computer literacy
· Good planning and organization skills
· Ability to show proactive attitude and collaborative team player
· Openness to share knowledge and experience
· Offer advice and proposes solutions when risk / opportunities arise
· Good level of verbal and written communication skills
