Canada Payroll Specialist
Responsabilites:
· Payroll Specialist administers Hourly and Salary payroll for up to 2,000 salaried and hourly employees in Canada
· Ensure the payroll information system updates, coordinates if necessary with external providers.
· Guarantee the payroll is processed accurately by reviewing and balancing hours and pay for Salaried and Hourly employees
· Acts as a resource to employees and managers or respective payroll areas with regard to payroll inquiries
· Ensure pay registers, direct deposits, checks and various labor reports are accurate and distributed in a timely fashion as per our payroll reporting processes.
· Enter Employee information and prepare imports into the payroll systems, including new hire information, Employee changes, deductions, and adjustments
· Conduct payroll calculations on specific topics which require expertise. Ex: Dismissal payments, replacement cheques, termination pays, lump sum payments
· Assist in ad hoc departmental projects
· Perform other duties as requested by manager
Desired profile
Requirements:
· 2-4 years CANADA payroll experience in shared service environment
· Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, similar.
· ADP Enterprise payroll experience preferred, other payroll system experience will be considered
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Associates Degree or equivalent
· Excellent English skills
