Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Metallurgist/Materials Engineer.
JOB OVERVIEW:
· Utilize powder metallurgy knowledge and experience to support the manufacturing of electrical powder metal contacts.
· Troubleshoot material issues that impact the manufacturing of components and assemblies used in electrical distribution products.
· Research, develop, prepare, test and analyze materials used in the manufacture of electrical distribution components and products.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues in engineering, manufacturing, quality and purchasing to ensure the appropriate selection of materials for new applications.
Desired profile
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy, related Materials Science degree or commensurate materials engineering experience.
