Description : The MCAD-ECAD Business Support is responsible for User efficiency and productivity on the use of MCAD R&D Systems application like ProE WF5, CREO 2, Windchill PLM/PDM tools and also supporting the ECAD tools like CADENCE through anticipation support, (user support/mentoring and consulting) on methods and tools at a user level & entity levels, (Business Unit, Operating Division, …) Similarly, BS is responsible to sustain the support chain effectiveness on L2.

Maintain and improve the Americas community"s user-efficiency & user-satisfaction by:

• Proposing and deploying improvement plans in terms of methods and tools usage, according entity contexts on product development and design.
• Providing user support, coaching and focused mini training.
• Being responsible for user satisfaction regarding support (including L1 coordination) in her/his perimeter.
• Animating user (and "super-user") communities and networks with all key people and groups.

Supporting the Schneider Electric"s Product Information Management offer and deployment by:

• Formally capturing and documenting gaps in this particular offer and pushing for evolution of tools, or user adoption through change management.
• Proposing temporary methods when gap is important between current entity practices and official methods.
• Providing technical support to mass or evolution deployment projects.
• Participating/Leading, deployment or evolution projects to deliver new releases that better meet user needs.

Promoting Schneider"s design policy by:
· Coaching entities to move to the standard tools and kill their legacy.
· Adjusting support after participating in negotiations between an entity and IPO R&D Domain.

Desired profile

· The standard shift goes from: 7 am - 5 pm.
· 4 year degree – Engineering or technical field. Engineers or Industrial design preferred.
· Strong customer service oriented.
· Problem solving skills.
· Soft skills (excellent written and spoken communication skills, negotiation, service attitude, ability to influence).
· Minimum of 2 years experience in product engineering-design with exposure to production/manufacturing processes.
· CAD/CAM Design experience.
· Project/community management proven experience.
· Cross-cultural & team work experience proven skills.
· Tool experience: CREO2, Pro/E, Inventor or Windchill products knowledge.
· Microsoft Office product skills.
· Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative in a pressure environment.
· Languages: Spanish 100%, English (Fluent), any other language like French or Portuguese is a Plus
