What do you get to do in this position?

The Engineering Supervisor plans, organizes and directs engineering work to meet customer order specifications, support of assembly areas to complete orders, provides support for special designs, monitors team performance and KPIs, and works collaboratively with the departmental team to support the MCC manufacturing process.

Essential Functions

· Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports to support sales, quality, productivity and service objectives.
· Develops, trains and supervises direct reports to high performance standards.
· Provides technical direction and assists in problem resolution specific to the products supported by the engineering team.
· Provides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals.
· Work collaboratively with team members/supervisors on projects to drive efficiency.
· Performs performance reviews and mentoring of team members
· Understands and applies diagnostic tools and KPI performance metrics to drive quality and productivity improvements.
· Assist in the deployment of the SAP business transformation for the Order Engineering team.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages employees within the Order Engineering team.

Desired profile

· Bachelors degree in engineering

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry required, prefer experience leading teams and engineers
