right person to join our team as a  Logistics Business
Analyst
- Finance based in our office in Telford.
 
Mission
 
To
support the Logistics Financial Controller in their mission and specifically the financial
aspects of logistics operations, control of standard processes and products.
 
To
provide business information to support control of costs and drive for
productivity, in addition to support on the preparation of the monthly
financial reporting pack.
 
 
Main
Responsibilities:
 
 
 
To take
responsibility for the management of the GR/IR account, acting as the
interface between Central Finance and Inventory ControlTo ensure adequate
control and speedy problem resolution of GR/IR issues in order to
maintain open line items within agreed targets.
Analyzing and
reducing stock movements, particularly PPV and stock adjustments.
Improve the
accuracy of stock transactions.
Preparation of
monthly reporting pack and any Central Finance requirements (e.g.
Inventory, Sales & Margin, Management reporting Packages)To satisfy
Central Finance reporting requirements.
Support the
Logistics Financial Controller to understand the Logistics cost base in
relation to target and UK initiativesAll cost
transactions recorded and allocated accurately, suitable management
information available to aid understanding & forecasting.
Monitoring
and reporting of freight and packaging costs controlled by Logistics and
ensure master data on SAP is posting accurate accruals.
The businesses
have correct freight and packaging costs and information about
these.  The risk of future
unexpected costs is minimised.
Control and
reconciliation of the Logistics balance sheet.
Assets and
Liabilities are recorded in accordance with accounting statements and
group rules.
Monthly
reconciliation of stock held between modules on SAP.Stock levels
and values are consistent throughout SAP.Supporting
during the transfer Pricing campaign, Std cost maintenance and CSC
updates.
Enabling TP
campaign to be prepared accurately and on time. Take responsibility for
managing and ensuring consistency of std costs across Logistics plantsProvide support
to the Logistics organization with reporting & ad-hoc projects.
To produce the
necessary routine management information required at Logistics level
& provide support for ad-hoc project work as required.
Input of monthly
results and forecasts in line with UK reporting calendar.
To complete
AOC/HFM/TCM package on time to enable consolidation and monthly analysis
preparation.
Coordinate and
point of contact for analysis of obsolete and slow movingSummary
reporting of RCA for obsolete risk including update and maintenance of
key tracking tools

Qualifications
and Experience:
 
Ideally CIMA PQ (or equivalent) has aspirations to
develop further through CIMA.Competent level of computer literacy (Excel, Access,
SAP)A good aptitude for detail and summarizing key
informationGood time management is essentialExpertise in Schneider organization and systems
(Preferred but not essential)Proactive nature & enthusiasm to challenge costs,
KPIs across Logistics & Finance business
