What are we looking for?
Do you have a passion for supply chain, procurement and solving complex business challenges? We are currently seeking a self-driven Power Buyer candidate with a passion for procurement to join our team. This position will be located in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
· Oversight of the procure to pay process with a set group of end users to drive compliance of and leverage the tools and processes that support Purchase Order management
· Adheres to, educates and enforces e-Procurement tool usage guidelines, and all corporate Purchasing policies with User groups
· Assists Users with supplier invoicing issues related to procurement
· Manages invoice discrepancies and works closely with AP, user groups and suppliers to drive toward timely resolution of discrepancies
· Communication of Best Practices to the e-procurement tool user groups
· Facilitate e-Procurement System training for new users or as needed
· Leads supply base optimization efforts for Real Estate & Facilities Management team to drive simplification
· Manages new supplier add requests from User groups with approvals from the commodity manager
· Supports commodity manager to prepare for negotiation projects and business reviews
· Leads adhoc spend and cost savings analysis and presents conclusions and/or recommendations to the commodity manager
· Leads projects to drive simplification and efficiency of the e-procurement tools and processes with both the e-procurement tool administrator and end users
· Productivity (cost savings) reconciliation between the real estate and NPP tools and manage changes and updates needed to ensure alignment of productivity reporting
Qualifications:
· Associate's or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Operations from a top University
· Strong relationship management skills
· Process oriented, with disciplined process management skills
· Experience with e-Procurement systems and supplier e-catalogs
· Strong leadership skills: collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning / prioritization, project management
· Strong verbal / written communications skills working in a complex virtual organization
· Self- initiative and aptitude for process improvement
· Strong training facilitation and coaching skills for the user group
· SAP – SRM knowledge “desirable”
