Work environment

· SEPD (Schneider Electric Power Drives GmbH) is an Austrian legal entity affiliated to Schneider Electric group, a worldwide leader of Energy management sector (25 billion-euro sales in 2017).
· SEPD site embeds Global Supply Chain Manufacturing activities and R&D projects led by Industry Business Unit.
· The entity produces Industrial Control and Drive systems (IC&D Line of Business) which are sold through Schneider Electric commercial affiliates worldwide and shipped to various industrial end-customers (mainly mine & metal, transportation, waste & water and infrastructure companies).
· The site is in industrial area north of Vienna and is easily reachable with public transport.
· Onsite is a canteen for catering purpose. Work place will be an office.
Main missions
· To take part as Finance Team member to daily Business topics, Monthly Closing and Reporting in HFM.
· To monitor R&D project controlling and analyze cost competitiveness of newly-launched products.
· To track Productivity on Material & Labor costs to explain variance vs standard based on SAP ERP analysis.
· To support Rolling Forecast/Budget process and follow-up of results on quarterly basis.
· To provide support on Project controlling and actions to improve plant/product profitability.

This posiiton is a fixed term one, which shall start as May 1st 2018 till end of october 2018 (replacement of maternity leave).

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Minimum is to have a Bachelor Degree in Economics
·  Open-minded, dedicated and able to work independently
·  Fluent spoken and written English & German languages
·  Passion for figures, interested in Finance/Controlling and industrial business environment
·  Good skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office

Strong analytical mind set and team collaboration skills

English is mandatory, German knowledge is a plus
