Job description
This position is responsible for the promotion and sale of a broad range of products and solutions under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager. The OEM BDS will be responsible for the development of all OEM customers in an assigned territory with a focus on accounts in the Material Working, Material Handling, Pump and Packaging segments.

Candidate must have a strong ability to develop and execute business plans resulting in OEM customer business focused specifically, in the areas of automation and control solutions.
Activities to include development of sales opportunities through a platformed list of qualified leads provided.
The OEM Business Development Specialist will utilize product, customer and market knowledge, in addition to excellent sales skills to present customer solutions.
Candidate must have a strong ability to clearly communicate a compelling message to our customers regarding the advantages of our solutions and product offering
Position requirements:
1. Maintain contact with accounts at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
2. Sales to executive C-level decision-makers.
3. Maintain profitable growth of assigned accounts and turnkey projects.
4. Generate new business by strategic alignment with other internal sales channels.
5. Expand and retain key accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service.
6. Set goals and objectives, develop sales/business plans, establish call plans and strategies, develop account profiles and execute the plan.
7. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability, timely communication and following up on accounts.
8. Identify and contact potential customers or prospects Technical degree preferred.
Proven Industrial Controls sales experience (Drives, HMI, Motor Control, Circuit Protection).
Must have sales experience calling on OEM accounts.
