W hat do you get to do in this position?

Co-op Engineer opportunity for someone seeking to apply their ongoing engineering education with a full-time engineering co-op position to align with their University's term. The person in this role will be based at our Victoria, BC Canada facility. This position will support the design as well the verification and validation of features on our advance range of metering of products.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

· Effectively work as member of a cross-functional engineering SCRUM team in an Agile environment.
· Support the Verification and Validation of key cutting edge metering features.
· Work with an automated test environment, designing and writing automated test to support the verification of key
· meter functionality.
· Provide support and gain exposure to various engineering disciplines
· Firmware Development / Embedded Systems Engineering
· Digital and Analog HW Design/ Electrical Engineering
· Mechanical Engineering
· Test Engineering

Qualifications :

T his job might be for you if:

Education:

·  Must be actively pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar

Experience:

·  Exposure to Programming and Engineering Course work
·  Problem solving experience.
·  Ability to search through and analyze code written by other engineers to diagnose errors
·  Working knowledge of one or more programming/ scripting languages (Python, C, C++, Java, Bash).

Soft Skills:

·  Ability to work across cultures to solve customer issues.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·  Ability to multitask and quickly pivot between tasks
·  Quick study, curious, positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a
·  customer-focused attitude.

Successful candidate should be able to work in a dynamic environment; to work within a team or independently; to be

required.
