Engineer, Inside Sales Services

Essential Functions
The mission of the Inside Sales Engineer will be to maximize sales by establishing, building and maintaining relationships with our customers through indirect selling practices. The individual in this position will be responsible for increasing sales within the services business through acquiring and growing new business. This will be accomplished by consistent and effective communication with internal and external partners to facilitate identification opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Identifying opportunities and recommending Schneider Electric Services and Solutions
·Quote /opportunity follow up in order to increase hit rate by utilizing developed selling skills and technical knowledge
·Developing sales/business plans, establishing call plans and strategies, generating sales opportunities and executing the sales plan
·Positioning Schneider Electric Services into preferred position in market and customer activity, providing technical knowledge regarding services and solutions.

This role sells assigned services & solutions to targeted customers with the objective of growing the accounts and optimizing sales volume, mix, and profit margin.

Desired profile

Qualifications
This individual in this position will have a BA degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. The individual in this position will be knowledgeable on the following solutions: Partner Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Products and Services solutions/programs. The ISE will also understand competitor solutions and be able to discuss the differences between Schneider Electric solutions and competitor solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of sales or customer service experience that is client facing. They will be a self-motivated team player with good time management, who can effectively communicate to a wide range of internal and external customers. Must have product knowledge, as well as be able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and have the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
