Electronics Hardware Designer ( Communication base modules with Integrated IOs)

Job description

Mission / primary purpose of the function

The project team based in Singapore will have to develop the new TM3 modules (Bus Couplers and slice IOs) that are expected to be launched in 2018/2019. Under the responsibility of the Project Design Leader he is responsible for Hardware development (e.g. Controlboard, IOBoard, CommunicationBoard) of New TM3 modules. The range of tasks covers the creation of specifications and the development including the verification.

Main tasks

analyse of complex problems and creation of specification
development of boards (Control, IO, Communication)
creation of schematic designs according international standards and EMC guidelines for robust design
specification and design of µController
support the embedded software development team on requirements and specifications
creation of verification plans
FMEDA Analysis
creation of the required deliverables for the industrialization

Interfaces
(other functions / departments)

Interfacing with Project Design Leaders (Platform and Software), Architect, Validation, Quality, Marketing and Industrialization.

Desired profile

Formation

Master of Electronics or equivalent

Expertise / experience

Good knowledge of requirement engineering
Good knowledge of ECAD and simulation tools (Spice, Altium, ModelSim, Cadence...)
Good knowledge in development of digital and analogue circuits espacially µController design
Good knowledge in Design to cost
Good knowledge in maintenance as well as verification of electronic circuits

Soft skills

Strong team player, ability to work in an international and multi-sites environment
Be rigorous (detailed specifications), openness
Be able to create a positive spirits in the team.

Computer literacy

Hardware Development Tools (ECAD, simulation tools..)
