Job description

SUMMARY

· Responsible for the Residential Sales and the small contractors channel led market.
· Oversees the overall business relationship between Channel Partners and Schneider Electric Canada by providing leadership, direction, and support to Channel Partners, the Sales Organization, Corporate Marketing and other SEC stakeholders to enable Channel sales, in-field execution of programs/initiatives and performance.
· Primary business contact with our Distributors, enabling them in new business development and support the SEC product offering and services to the mutual benefit of both SEC and our Channel Partner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accountable for the Residential Market and overall Channel performance including sales, margins, sales market share and operational efficiencies. Drives the distributor training certification program. Manages the tools and programs for optimal inventory management for specific branch and sales areas.
· Formulates business strategies and plans to promote and grow overall sales and market share on Channel led target accounts.
· Assist distributors with joint calls at small and residential contractors.
· Accountable, with the sales organization, for the sales target for the assigned Distributor branches and business development of Schneider Products & Solutions.
· Develops and executes Distributor Business Plans and ensures formal reviews with appropriate Channel and Schneider personnel participating as needed.
· Ensures our Channel understands and effectively utilizes existing policies and procedures.
· Facilitates territory liaison to Marketing and Business Development Managers, assists product launches, market development activities, and competitive knowledge.
· Maintains existing channel contacts and registries.
· Ensures professional customer service as required and appropriately gains conflict resolution.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· High School/University/College/Technical School graduate with Electrical Engineering Degree or C.E.T or equivalent electrical background experience.

· Strong knowledge of LV products and applications to commercial, industrial, OEM, and consulting/engineering/SI markets.

· Must have sound knowledge of channel/distribution business model, processes and operations.

· Possess strong business acumen, and demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans.

· Have strong interpersonal skills - a team player with excellent facilitation and organizational skills; ability to effectively manage and operate at all levels within Schneider, Channel, and customers; ability to effectively influence, collaborate, and lead others; negotiation and problem solving skills.

· Have at least five years of combined sales and technical experience in related industry.
