Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as Business Development Manager based in our office in Maynooth. This role will request that you travel around 30% of your time mainly around Dublin but you will need to go to Cork and Galway as well.
Your mission:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to develop and maintain the pull through of sales with Direct Customers consisting mainly Consultants / Engineering offices. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the sales process, be a key technical advisor and product advocate for our all Schneider Electric products in front of the allocated customers.
· Must be able to identify all issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
· Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Your main responsibilities:
Responsible for performing commercial and high technical discussions with potential customers, as well as presentations and preparation of offers.
Responsible for driving orders and sales through new and existing customers and managing all day-to-day interactions between existing customers (Consultants) and Schneider Electric.
Responsible for presenting the product offer to customers locally and also at field events such as conferences, seminars, trainings etc. Develop and execute territory and specific account sales plan.

Identify and cultivate strategic relationships at all levels of customer organization.

Identify and develop winning strategies that will drive order closure.

Integrate and work with other team members and other Schneider Electric channels
·
Maintain accountability for Orders and Sales targets. (specifically, with targeted projects and consultant engineers)

Work closely with the ‘Project Team' with the preparation of tender /quotations on projects
·
Registration and maintenance of opportunities on bFO
·
Understand and communicate customer specific requirements.

Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, timely communication, placing accurate orders, tracking and expediting orders, and following up on accounts.

Assists management in training Sales Support personnel on technical aspects and application support.
About you:

You must possess in-depth industry, technical and business process knowledge.
·
You need to be able to respond to functional and technical elements on Electrical environment
·
Be able to travel throughout sales territory. (Clean driving licence)
·
Good computer literacy to enable opportunity capture and project follow up on ‘Bridge Front Office'.
·
Electrical qualification minimum requirements are: - Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Technical).
·
2 to 5 years working experience in specific offer management, experience of Technical sales, knowledge and background in electrical market
·
Possess strong communication, interpersonal and self-motivated with pleasant and outgoing personality.
·
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
·
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, excel, word. Driving licence.
