Are you our next Building Controls Commissioning Engineer ? Based out of our Ashby-de-la-Zouch office, Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as a Building Controls Commissioning Engineer with responsibility for our Projects in Midlands. We are currently looking to recruit two Commissioning Engineers to the team.

Your Mission:
Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Commissioning Engineer. Your mission will be to commission Building Management Control Systems as part of customer orders incorporating the supply, desing, installation and commissioning of building management control systems.

Your responsibilities:
1. To ensure a safe and healthy working environment for themselves and others, at office or site locations. Operating to site requirements, Project Method statements and risk assessments, SE Health & Safety System.
2. To precommission control panels, field devices and main plant items (motors, inverters etc) onto the panel
3. To commission controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control system.
4. To write and commission controller software through to the Graphical user interface.
5. To configure and commission graphics.
6. To document commissioning progress, site reports and assist with O & M manuals.
7. To handover and demonstrate the completed system to customer/ consultant.
8. To aid supervision of the installation and liaison with contractors.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of HVAC applications is essential.

You must be electrically competent, familiar with networks, third party interfaces and be fully computer literate.
