Associate Web Developer

Job description

This person is responsible in the development, support and maintenance of Web and eBusiness Applications using generally-accepted design & development standards and sound coding techniques tools in support of BU's worldwide sales growth, productivity improvements (internally and externally), and enhancements to customer service.

Job Overview:

· Provide a 1st level development support (defect resolution) for web applications inside and independent to ASCO Power Technologies' web portal.
· Provide immediate solution on report request, account creation and modifications and application system changes.
· Help in creating and designing high quality, cost effective web/eBusiness applications, and web-based tools in support of ASCO Power Technologies' worldwide sales growth, productivity improvements (internally and externally),and enhancements to customer service.
· Fix defects identified through every support. Document its occurrence and ways to resolve it.
· Utilizes departmental design, architectural, and development standards, and sound coding techniques to develop, test, implement and support web applications.
· Performs unit testing before releasing to the Development and QA servers to ensure the project meets all specified criteria and functions without error.
· Creates required documentation (code, methodology) utilized in relation to supporting our web and eBusiness applications.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Programming or related field.
·  Knowledge in Web development using Microsoft ASP and ASP.NET; Programming using C#.NET or related programming languages such C/C++; Programming using T-SQL
·  Knowledgeable in web standards compliant HTML, Programming using JavaScript and Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
·  Managing and deploying IIS (Internet Information Services) and Reading and Designing Data Flow Diagrams
·  Driven to succeed in a hectic development environment where there are multiple priorities
·  Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Products; Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment, and provide timely and accurate follow up to inquiries
·  Willing to work on a Night Shift and in Ortigas Pasig City .
