The programme

As part of our Apprenticeship, you will get to study towards and achieve an HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying/contract management over a part-time programme. Working within the Secure Power business within Schneider Electric focusing othe Data Centre & IT customers. You'll be exposed to engineering and business practices from solution conception & configuration, sales technical support, tendering & estimation,project management and project engineering. Training & exposure will be achieved through on the job training through a series of rotations within the Secure Power business as follows;

Tender & estimation team generating quotations for systems quotations, commercial management team providing contract administration support to customer contracts and project management team to support delivery of customer orders.

What you'll do

After completing your apprenticeship you'll be fully prepared to move into a role as a Tender Engineer. Your aspirations need not end here, though. The tender engineer role provides excellent launch pads for later career challenges as a Tender Manager, Commercial & Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Sales Account Manager and beyond.

Required qualifications and skills:

· A-Levels or equivalent qualifications in an engineering or business related subject i.e. ONC, , NVQ Level 3

· Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK

· Have knowledge of, and interest in energy automation

· Be self-motivated, resourceful, flexible and customer focused
