The programme

As part of our Apprenticeship, you will get to study towards and achieve an HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering over a part-time programme. Working within the Secure Power business within Schneider Electric focusing othe Data Centre & IT customers. You'll be exposed to engineering and business practices from solution conception & configuration, sales technical support, tendering & estimation,project management and project engineering. Training & exposure will be achieved through on the job training through a series of rotations within the Secure Power business as follows;

Tender & estimation team generating quotations for systems quotations, Secondment to technical support team providing technical product & configuration support to the sales teams and Secondment to project management team to support delivery of customer orders.

What you'll do

After completing your apprenticeship you'll be fully prepared to move into a role as a Systems Engineer. Your aspirations need not end here, though. The Systems Engineer role provides excellent launch pads for later career challenges as a Project Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Solutions Architect, Tendering Engineer and beyond.

Required qualifications and skills:

· A-Levels (C in Mathematics and Science) or equivalent qualifications in an engineering or business related subject i.e. ONC, , NVQ Level 3

· Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK

· Have knowledge of, and interest in energy automation

· Be self-motivated, resourceful, flexible and customer focused
