Field Service – Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Programme

Electric with 2 Apprenticeships in the South East of the UK and 1 Apprenticeship in Scotland. The

program in a combination of on the job learning whilst also obtaining NVQ L2, L3, ONC & HNC in

Electrical/Power Engineering over a 4 year program.


Major duties and responsibilities:


 Assist with Commissioning, Modifications/Refurbishment, Repair and Maintenance of Electrical

Power Distribution Equipment & Systems

 Perform site risk assessments and assist in producing method statements

 Assist in the production of on-site test results and site work reports

 Contribute to the formulation of offers for site activities

 Participate if necessary in schemes to provide customer support outside of normal working hours

 Promote Schneider Electric's service offering by identifying and pursuing business opportunities

Qualifications :



Required qualifications and skills:


 GCSE: C or above in Mathematics, English & Science

 Beneficial to Hold a full driving license

 Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK

 Have knowledge and interest in Electrical Engineering & Power

 Ability to communicate well in English, both written and spoken

 Be self-motivated, resourceful and flexible
