Field Service – Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Programme

We have an exciting opportunity for people wanting a career in electrical engineering at Schneider
Electric with 2 Apprenticeships in the South East of the UK and 1 Apprenticeship in Scotland. The
program in a combination of on the job learning whilst also obtaining NVQ L2, L3, ONC & HNC in
Electrical/Power Engineering over a 4 year program.
Major duties and responsibilities:
Assist with Commissioning, Modifications/Refurbishment, Repair and Maintenance of Electrical
Power Distribution Equipment & Systems
Perform site risk assessments and assist in producing method statements
Assist in the production of on-site test results and site work reports
Contribute to the formulation of offers for site activities
Participate if necessary in schemes to provide customer support outside of normal working hours
Promote Schneider Electric's service offering by identifying and pursuing business opportunities
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Required qualifications and skills:
GCSE: C or above in Mathematics, English & Science
Beneficial to Hold a full driving license
Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK
Have knowledge and interest in Electrical Engineering & Power
Ability to communicate well in English, both written and spoken
Be self-motivated, resourceful and flexible
