What do you get to do in this position?

Schneider Electric is seeking an ambitious individual to assume the role of an Application Engineer in Columbia, SC

This position is accountable for the design of switchgear and switchboards based on customer plans and specifications. Knowledge of the following areas is desirable, but not required:

· Design of basic relay/control schemes
· Ability to interact with field sales force and plant manufacturing personnel
· Creation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with AutoCAD
· Generation of bills of material, and modification of standard assemblies as required to suit the application

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

·  Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
·  0 - 2 years' experience in design and manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment, recent graduates are encouraged to apply
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
·  Strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
