Advanced Technical Support Center Specialist (Ashburn, VA): S/he is responsible for achieving expert level in support of at least two product groups and familiarity and general back-up capability in supporting all other products. S/he achieves familiarity and working knowledge of applications in supported products. S/he executes independent field troubleshooting services to customers in assigned product groups. S/he conducts independent customer training on assigned products in the factory and in the field and assists others in the execution of training on other products for customers in the field. This position requires an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering or related and two years of work experience in technical production, repair, or product support. This position also requires one year of work experience with: PID controllers, indicator, and alarm units – 2100, 2200, 2400, 3500, 2604, 2704 and NanoDac controllers; Recorders and data management including paperless recorders: 6XXXA, AeroDAQ, E-series, VersaDac and Chart paper recorders: 4XXX and 392; Machine Control including Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) system solutions for hybrid DCS industries: T2750, T2550, and E+PLC; Power switches and power controllers including Solid State Relays (SSR), single phase, and multi-phase switches: EPack, ESwitch, and EFit; and I/O signal conditioning, probes, thermo-sensors, and actuators.
