Main features about the place (plant/GTC/…, nb of employees, type of products…):
Office space, with over 700 employees from the different businesses within Schneider Electric. Location is the North American Headquarters & one of five Global R&D Centres.
Composition of the team: SVP Strategy and two Directors Strategy (with this position 3 people at global level).
Other people the VIE interacts with as part of the business activities: Interacts with network of strategy teams, product managers, offer managers, business teams from different entities and countries and Sr executives in division
Business trips in the country: None
Poste et missions:
1/ Actively contribute to research incl. preparing presentations on strategic topics: specific industry and market analysis, trends, value chain analysis, growth opportunities identification etc
2/ Analyze market landscape, profile, and monitor selected players on company’s targeted markets: perform competition analysis to understand strategies, business segments, investments and future course of action
3/ Help organize, structure, and follow-up the pipeline of acquisition targets for one of the company’s businesses.
4/ Participate in Business planning process for specific geographies
5/ Develop & update Global Strategy tools, processes, and methodologies
Profil:
Education: Master’s degree in business
Technical Field: Office PowerPoint, Excel
Work experience needed: 2-3 years
Requested languages (marked as bilingual, fluent, well known, basic knowledge): English (fluent)
Personal abilities or skills: Strong analytical skills, Strong communication skills (written and verbal), Detailed oriented, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in data analysis
