Embedded Software Engineer C++ 80-100% (m/f)

Mobility is the goal

You bring Your expertise in our powertrain team to develop, implement and maintain the control software for the drive of our elevators.

You are mainly responsible for the following tasks:

Design, simulation, implementation, documentation and testing of control software
Analyzing of system requirements and writing software requirements
Architecture and design of new software components
Collaboration with other R&D departments (electrical motors, converter hardware, elevator control)
Maintenance and improvement of existing converters as well as 2nd-level-support

Mobility needs you

Your knowledge in power electronics, powertrain systems and electrical engineering is profound. You consider yourself analytical, conceptual and performance-oriented team player. Furthermore, your experience in project management enables you to plan and realize projects successfully.

For this challenging position you bring the following qualifications:

Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics
Several years of experience in embedded software development in a real-time environment as well as deep knowledge of C, C++, real-time operating systems
Experience with communication protocols (CAN) and associated development tools
Experience with STM32/TI DSP 32-bit processors
Lauterbach debugger
Very good German and good English language skills
