Satcom Global is a leading provider of global satellite services to the maritime, land and aero markets, and a trusted supplier of marine and offshore safety systems and engineering services. We provide voice and data solutions for users in remote locations outside terrestrial networks, and design and integrate systems ensuring safety in the most hazardous of environments.
Working within our Technical Support Team you will have the opportunity to work with a first-line service desk handling support requests from customers who are truly global and where English is usually not their first language.
You will experience a range of SatCom technologies, Kayako service desk, various email platforms and networking devices.
We are looking for a intern who we can introduce into our Satcom Global family and who will be confident enough to express themselves and make suggestions. Someone who can help and is willing to learn.
Ideally studying for a technical / business / language degree, but with an interest in Technology.
Familiar with Windows Desktop Operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Additional language skills highly advantageous, particularly Chinese (Mandarin), Russian or Thai although any additional language skills may be useful.
Excellent documentation skills.
