Job description
With over 50 years of battery experience, Satair UK Ltd has established itself as the UK’s leading aerospace battery maintenance, repair and warranty operation.
Our specialist facility, which started business in 1981 and is located 4 miles from London’s Heathrow Airport, repairs, services and sells in excess of 7000 batteries per annum and supports leading operators in both the commercial fixed wing and rotary markets.
Backed by the Satair Group and Airbus it offers "Best in Class" services and supports all SAFT, Marathon Norco, Acme Aerospace, Enersys, Concorde and Hawker aerospace batteries.
As part of our ongoing growth we are looking to recruit battery technicians for our busy workshop operation.
Whilst previous commercial battery experience would be an advantage full training to CAA Part 145 repair station accreditation will be given to successful candidates.
Key skills required include:

The ability to work within & as part of a small closely knit team, taking responsibility for deadlines & customer requirements.

Being able to work to exacting quality & operational standards as laid down by company policy & the CAA standards

Good telephone skills allowing you to effectively communicate with customers & Satair group employees around the world

A high degree of flexibility, being able to take on additional duties such as basic warehousing and computer input
The most important aspect of the role is to be able to approach any task with a "can do" attitude ensuring that our customer’s service levels are enhanced and that we maintain our exacting quality standards.
Once fully trained (a process which should take around 6 months), you will be able to enhance your earnings by inclusion on our AOG (Aircraft on Ground) call out service
Working hours are 37.5 per week based on Monday to Friday; however, following training a number of other shift patterns are available.
