Five years ago the LC Packaging Group first set foot on the African ground to explore the growing market opportunities on the continent primarily for its FIBC division (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers – Big Bags).
LC Packaging opened a first regional office in South-Africa, Johannesburg, after which the opening of its own production plant in 2012 took place in S-A. The LC Shankar plant, situated in Pietermaritzburg, has become a key production facility for the South-African market. Beside S-A, LC Packaging opened a regional office in April 2015 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. At the moment LC Packaging is also developing the North-African market, where we observe an unmistakable potential and the same opportunities for LC Packaging to play a significant role. Africa is the fastest growing region of the LC Packaging Group.
