PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam is a dedicated group within SAP that focuses on creating innovative software prototypes, that pave the way for new and disruptive IT solutions. We work in small teams that draw on the diverse professional and cultural backgrounds of our members, and cooperate directly with end users and partners on a range of problems, involving big data. It is our goal to build business applications that will make complex products and processes seem simple, natural and obvious. That is why the users of our software are at the center of our development processes.
We are looking for a Visual Interface Design Student (m/f) that supports the team in designing application interfaces, outstanding brand experiences and communication materials for SAP.
Aside from the fact that SAP is a great employer for students, the Health Innovation Hub at the SAP Innovation Center is a buzzing hub of international, professionally diverse and very motivated folks. Low hierarchies and direct project responsibilities enable you to design with impact. Location for this position is our lakeside campus in Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin to Potsdam and back every day.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of the SAP Connected Health team, you will help to develop applications for the latest products of SAP in the healthcare sector. Working in close collaboration with other designers, developers and product owners, you will design user interfaces for different products. Next to that, will create branding materials to help us develop a memorable brand experience. You will learn how to practice design in a team environment and have the possibility to continuously train your design skills:
· Design user interfaces for our healthcare solutions, in close collaboration with interdisciplinary team
· Create/prepare/edit outstanding communication material to enable products success
· Build information graphics, charts and sketch illustrations
· Work effectively on multiple projects at the same time and meet overlapping deadlines
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required
· Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
· (Profound) Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop etc), Sketch, and Power Point, knowledge in Framer/ Principle or Flinto is a plus
· Ability to comprehend and master complex contexts and transforming them into visual concepts
· Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
· Attention to detail, creativity and problem-solving capabilities
· Hands-on designer and team player with a passion for brand, design and trends
· Excellent written and strong communication skills towards peers and management
· Language skills: strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Preferred
· Experience in UI/UX Design
· Motion design experience
· Strong written and verbal communications skills in German
