PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Total Rewards (TR) operates as a global team within SAP HR and is responsible for designing and executing compensation and benefits services and solutions that embody SAP's Pay for Performance philosophy and that help driving desired behaviors and outcomes to achieve the business growth strategy.

Market Intelligence is an area within Total Rewards which is specialized on the comparison of SAP's compensation data with the respective data of other peer companies (market data) and offers a great opportunity to gain knowledge on the design of compensation plans from an internal and external perspective.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This is your opportunity to contribute to the optimization of the internal administration of compensation at SAP and the comparison with the external market data (e.g. from peers). In detail we need your support for the following activities:

·  Collection and submission of internal salary data to international salary survey companies;
·  Preparation of upload files (Excel) into our global compensation market pricing tool;
·  Supporting the daily activities of the Global Total Rewards CoE Teams;
·  International coverage with all 81 SAP countries regarding compensation related questions;
·  Preparing analyses and presentations of market trends in the field of compensation.

Preferred start date for the position is January 1, 2018 for a duration of 6 months.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Student (f/m) at a German university or university of applied sciences of Business Administration (ideally with focus on HR), sociology, psychology, economics or related fields
·  Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (here first Pivot and Formula knowledge would be a plus)
·  A very good knowledge in English is mandatory, a good knowledge in German is preferable but not mandatory
·  You have to be comfortable with analytical work, and a previous exposure to statistics is a plus
·  First experience in the area of HR would be a plus.
