PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Global Service & Support (GSS) is recognized for its world-class service and support offerings and its fast growing business. We aim at further improving our innovative service portfolio and engagement programs in order for our customers to efficiently operate SAP solutions across all deployment scenarios (on-premise, cloud and hybrid).SAP Enterprise Support (SAP ES) is SAP's maintenance offering with the highest share of revenue and number of customers. SAP Enterprise Support is a global program that builds on strong regional leads to develop and to innovate the offering.
The team “Enterprise Support EMEA/MEE” strives to strengthen SAP's trusted partnership with the targeted customers, and thus increase customer satisfaction & retention. Its mission is to ensure that the operational delivery organization can rely on all processes, tools and interfaces needed for their daily work. Furthermore, the team supports the EMEA Enterprise Support Advisor community to make sure that the customer's SAP solution runs with optimal level of performance, stability, and data consistency.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The position offered is to support the 'operational delivery' part from above. This means to coordinate and control local events globally, to process requests from individual countries, to provide and equip them with material resources and to get and evaluate feedback.
A second task is to support and accompany the planning, preparation, execution and following up of the worldwide virtual SAP Enterprise Support Day around the clock (24hrs non-stop) in all parts of the world, mainly the EMEA, APJ, NA and LA region at the end of the year 2015/beginning of 2016.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
· All fields of study are equally preferred
· MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is an advantage
· Excellent English and German skills, additional language skills are an advantage (Spanish, French, Chinese, etc.)
· Team player and social skills
· Ability to work in a global and virtual environment
WORK EXPERIENCE
