In the first 12 months, you will:

 

·  Ship : The most important thing that our team can do for the company is to ship production software. Aside from adding direct value to our customers, it is also the ultimate validation of our research and development efforts. 
·  Learn : We’re always learning; it’s part of our DNA. Whether it’s striving for improvements in design, production, or delivery methods, you’ll have the opportunity to break new ground every day.
·  Lead : It’s not just about learning – we want to pass on information to others to make the entire team great. This may come in the form of code reviews, one-on-one pairing sessions, and/or group teaching sessions. More broadly, you’ll be a part of the team that helps lead the rest of the company to a new architectural paradigm with a new set of technologies and a new set of approaches.
·  Partner : Collaborate with other teams throughout the company and across the globe to find innovative ways to help our customers accomplish their goals.

 

To accomplish this, you will need:

 

·  Very strong client-side JavaScript programming skills with a bias towards UI frameworks such as React.
·  Familiarity with a variety of technologies such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSP, Ajax, Struts, Java ES2015 (ES6), Redux, Webpack and Babel.
·  Self-motivation enabling you to deliver working software with minimal supervision.
·  A high degree of intellectual curiosity and fearless attitude when it comes to learning new technologies and processes. You should be both open to learn from others and willing to mentor and teach.
·  Strong communication skills, enabling you to work with a diverse team across multiple locations across the world.
·  Experience with back-end development in Java is a plus.

 

What do you need to bring?

 

·  Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer or Information Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
·  2+ years of experience with client-side JavaScript. Proficiency with functional programming techniques is highly desirable.
·  2+ years of experience delivering successful web application projects.
·  Interest in and willingness to learn new technologies and products.
