We are looking for a Technical Support Associate Engineer who is driven by a desire to provide outstanding technical support. The primary responsibility is to assist our customers in resolving technical issues related to the implementation, deployment, functionality and usage of our software suite.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Ability to think independently and be able to apply effective problem solving skills.
·  Process technical incidents according to processes & Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
·  Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions in complex environments
·  Recommend known technical solutions and develop workarounds for problem resolution
·  Assist customers with performance and scalability issues in their environments
·  Collaborate positively in a team environment
·  Foster positive customer relationships using verbal and written communication
·  Contribute to the internal and external knowledge base articles, wikis and forums.
·  Participate in after-hours support activities

 

Required Skills:

 

·  Good understanding of relational databases and SQL
·  Familiarity with operating system, networking concepts.
·  Good knowledge of Windows, Unix or Linux operating systems
·  Knowledge in programming languages such as JAVA/C++
·  Ability to work well in a team environment,
·  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills
·  Systematic, communicative, and creative focus
·  Excellent English communication - writing and speaking skills.
·  Consistently projects a positive and professional image

 

Desired Skills

·  Fluent in English, German and French an advantage
·  Any experience in SAP Databases

Education

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
