TITLE:   Supplier Onboarding Agent

REPORTS TO:  Lance Snow, Manager, NAMER Seller Enablement

DEPARTMENT: Supplier Management Organization, Consulting

LOCATION:  Pittsburgh

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Supplier Onboarding Agent supports the enablement of suppliers onto the SAP Ariba Network for Buyer Customers. This person manages follow up with suppliers to ensure that they are taking ownership of their network accounts and ultimately transacting on the SAP Ariba Network with their Customers.  The Supplier Onboarding Agent is the supplier’s main point of contact throughout the enablement process.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Customer Focus
·  Assists all assigned suppliers in the completion of their enablement tasks, from the validate phase until the supplier begins transacting in the SAP Ariba Network with each buyer customer
·  Prioritizes strategic suppliers and strategic accounts based on record information in the system
·  Sales
·  Assists all assigned suppliers in understanding key value adds for their specific industry and internal business objectives
·  Comprehend the art of selling value and adjusting language  and approach for your audience
·  SAP Ariba Solution Expertise
·  Knows the SAP Ariba Network and Supplier Enablement Automation features, understands the value of ecommerce and the SAP Ariba Network, and assists in the supplier education process with  customer specific training guides
·  Practice Development
·  Follows up with suppliers to encourage Network compliance.
·  Manage suppliers through SAP Ariba tools and processes.
·  Responsible for monitoring and tracking status of suppliers for project defined milestones.
·  Coordinates escalation of records to the Program Coordinator per defined process and hand-off of integrated suppliers for Electronic Integration Testing
·  The role includes, but is not limited to: 30 calls/day, email communication, conducting trainings and strong time management.
·  Leads & supports special projects as assigned.

·  Participates in all required training and follows Operational Work Instructions to complete assigned tasks.
·  Teamwork
·  Proactively escalates issues to immediate manager and Project Coordinators.
·  All other duties as assigned.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·  Previous experience with verbal and written communication in English Language
·  Previously held a role in customer service, inside sales, or telemarketing
·  Previous experience with supporting or selling a technical or service delivery product
·  Exposure to business operation units such as accounts payable, procurement, finance, or collections
·  Experience meeting expected deadlines
·  Proven ability to adhere to customer timelines
·  Proven success in working under pressure
·  Proven ability to be responsive to customer’s requests, emails, etc.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·  Education / Experience
·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
·  Skills
·  Polished customer service skills and telephone support
·  Comprehensive Sales skills
·  Verbal and Written communication skills
·  Excellent interpersonal and team skills
·  English Language is a must, other language skills are preferred.
·  Strong analytical and organizational skills
·  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software
