As a member of ourUser Experience team, you willpush yourcreative,problem-solvingand people skills to the fullest. You will work closelywith product managers,development leads, designers and other user researchers. As a UX researcher at SAP Successfactors you will plan and conduct research studies with SAP SuccessFactors' users. Working as partof SAP SuccessFactors'User Experience team you willcollaborate closely with designers, UI engineers and product managers to define and shape SAP SuccessFactors' product suite.You will beindependently responsible forconducting exploratory researchthat involves doing ethnographies to understand needs and motivations of different personas, and doing usability testing for design validation. This is a full-time position based in SouthSan Francisco, andyou will bea key memberof SAP SuccessFactors'UX Research group.

What you will do

* Study users todeeplyunderstand their SSNiFs (stakeholders,situations, needs leading to the right features)

* Workwith product managers,designers and engineers to assess project needs and develop appropriate research plans to support their objectives.You will beresponsible end-to-end for studies from proposing a methodology to delivering results.

* Conduct usability studies, using both in-person and remote testing methods.

* Conduct field studies studying different user personas in and aroundSan Francisco andat customer sites.

*Work closely withdata analysts tointegratequalitative research methods with ongoing quantitative research such as surveys, servers logs.

* Assess the need for alternative research methods (e.g., participatory design, card-sorting), and plan accordingly.

* Think strategically about incorporating user researchbest practicesinto product development.

* Evangelizebest practicesfor research across the company.

*Managethird party research vendors as needed.
* Conduct Kaizen projects to advance our collective thinking or processes

About you

* You have 2-3 years experience conducting high quality user experience research, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods in a corporate setting.

* You also work wellwith others,and have solid instincts about when to hold the line on methodological rigor, and when to adapt to the changing demands of a project. Most importantly, you approach your work with a sense of genuine curiosity and a willingness to try out new methods.

* You are willing to experiment withnew waysofconducting user research,and can work well in afast paced environment.

* You are up to speed in the latest design trends on both web and mobile.
* You have excellent verbal and written skills. You are able to persuade others of your good ideas.

*You have astrongwork ethic.You have asolid process, while being focused on outcomes.

*You have aBachelors, Masters or PhD degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology or related field.

Pluses

· Have experienceconductinguser researchfor enterprise applications.
· Have experience conductingbenchmarking studies.
· Have experience designing and analyzing large-scale surveys.

Have good understanding of basic statistics, and is an Excelninja.
