Purpose and Objectives

SAP’s region Europe & Middle East & Africa (EMEA) as well as Middle- and Eastern Europe (MEE) combines more than 17 Market Units (MU’s) responsible for driving SAP’s business in the corresponding geographical area. Marketing EMEA & MEE bears responsibility for the development and implementation of SAP’s marketing strategy for increased awareness, competitive differentiation, thought leadership, revenue growth and customer loyalty. It drives an audience focused marketing from strategy to execution with an adequate mix of push and pull tactics, including branding, advertising, sponsoring, events, as well as online, social media and search channels.

We are looking for a new member in the Marketing Transformation & Office of the regional CMO EMEA & MEE to support and drive strategic projects, enablement and communications. As a staff function, the team manages the operations and relations of the Head of Marketing EMEA & MEE and is responsible for driving marketing transformation, strategy and growth initiatives as well as for evolving and executing the regional invest in people program.

Expectations and Tasks

You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of key strategic projects helping Marketing EMEA & MEE and SAP to deliver relevant customer experiences, drive awareness, shift perceptions of the SAP brand, drive consideration and generate demand now and in the future. You will support and drive this through program/project management and change management, innovative enablement activities and world-class internal communications.

 

More specifically, your tasks will involve:

·  Contribute to and independently manage strategic projects helping Marketing to transform along defined transformation priorities (initiate, plan, execute, control, close projects)
·  Support the enablement of regional Marketing teams and market units across EMEA & MEE via innovative training and enablement concepts along defined strategy and transformation priorities
·  Develop and deliver advanced internal communications and change management activities to ensure business and Marketing strategy, strategy execution as well as transformation direction and progress are transparent to employees and stakeholders
·  Define and manage key stakeholders for key strategic projects, marketing strategy and transformation activities, ensuring transparency and establishing clear expectations
·  Work closely with and in virtual, international (project) teams

 

 

Education and Qualifications/ Skills and Competencies

·  University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience
·  Experiences in working independently, being highly detail-oriented, and delivering results in a greatly organized manner in dynamic environments
·  Flexible, self-motivated, results-oriented strategic thinker
·  Structured project management skills (small to medium-scaled projects)
·  Experience in design and implementation of enablement concepts and plans
·  Experience in communications (e.g. media, bloggers, employee communications)
·  Excellent English oral, writing and editing skills – written and oral German language skills are a plus
·  Experience in change management is a plus
·  Knowledge of innovative presentation tools and techniques to build high quality presentations
·  Awareness and understanding of SAP Corporate Strategy, SAP portfolio, and SAP Marketing activities
·  Passion for Marketing, consumer internet, social media and IT trends
