We are looking for graduates who are strong communicators and are driven to learn. After completing program rotations successfully, you will start your career in one of SAP’s Digital Business Services lines of business. Based on your skills and suitability, you will have the opportunity to work as either a Project Associate or Associate Support Engineer.
Project Associate typically:
· Assist the Project or Program Manager as needed
· Assist with project coordination, planning and management as well as early escalations
· Capture Project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to the Project management team
· Participate in documentation management under the direction of the Project or Program lead.
Associate Support Engineer typically:
· Handle customer requests and manage them in a professional and timely
· Identification of critical situations and/or situations that require resolution of the
· Empower customers to leverage and consume educational content
· Collaboration with customer’s IT (CCoE - Customer Center of Expertise) and/or business department, acting as the central support point of contact
· Establish quality relationships with customers IT and business units to drive value realization, devise & execute engagement activities
What is Digital Business Services Australia New Zealand Graduate Program?
The Digital Business Services Graduate Program is targeted at recent graduates with up to two years’ work experience, ideally gained in an IT environment. The program consists of classroom based learning – in conjunction with, three 2-3 month rotations to provide on the job learning. You will also be provided with support and guidance from managers and mentors within the Digital Business Services group. Your experience with SAP will start with three weeks of onboarding in your local SAP office.
Throughout the program you will build the foundations needed for success in Digital Business Services. Our rotations enable you to gain comprehensive experience and understanding within different lines of business such as Mission Control Centre, Enterprise Support or the Centre of Excellence (CoE) across SAP Australia/New Zealand.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
As a Graduate, your tasks during the program will include:
· Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully complete job rotations
· Meeting performance requirements at conclusion of each rotation
· Possessing effective communication skills to handle and explain customer situations (to both business end users and SAP technical/ functional consultants)
· Adapting to knowledge on new technologies in a consistently dynamic and changing environment.
· Analysing SAP software solutions and technologies such the SAP HANA Database Platform.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Preference will be given to graduates in information technology, computer science, science, business informatics or business administration with an IT focus, mathematics or engineering
· Minimum average of Distinction (70%) and above
· Fluency in verbal and written English language
· Team player with ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
· Strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills
· Resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners
· Possess a strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced organization
· Relationship oriented possessing an aptitude for quickly creating and nurturing connections with others
· Interest in understanding SAP product and solution offerings and their relation to our customers business processes
WORK EXPERIENCE
· This is an entry level position for recent graduates and candidates with up to two years work experience. Basic experience with IT services from e.g. an internship in an IT department or in a software production company is desirable
· Relevant projects that demonstrate your communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong work ethic that delivers high quality deliverables
· Multi-dimensional experiences in two or more of the following areas: entrepreneurial/self-starter, volunteerism, music, and/or other relevant extracurricular pursuits
· Demonstrated intellectual maturity in two or more of the following areas: problem solving, tough mindedness, resilience, can do/make it happen attitude, open minded, ability to manage pressure
